I’d like to apply for a individual grant for myself

I would like to introduce myself. I am Kelly, a 65 year old female quadriplegic with limited use of upper quadrant arms and hands.
My only income is Social Security Disability of $807.00 a month. I have recently used up my savings, and my home needs repairs.
Most of my repairs needed are due to hurricane Rita. I really need to get rid of the mold in my vents and carpet since they were not
able to dry properly until storms were completely gone and could open doors and windows. If I could receive a grant of $60,000 I
could pay off mortgage (making it possible not to have home foreclosed on) and make repairs to home. I cannot get a reverse
mortgage as I don't have enough equity in home. I called the mortgage company to see if I could refinance, or put a couple of
payments on the end, or just pay interest for a couple of months and they said no. They said they would not even accept partial
payments. On February 1st I will be 2 months behind on my mortgage. I have looked everywhere and cant find anyone that can
help me. I am hoping that you can. My income would then allow me to be financially secure. This would allow me to make car
payment and car insurance, pay utilities, food etc. I enjoy living an independent life. I enjoy working in my yard with the flowers. I
try to make the most of what I have. I have hand controls on my car, so I can be able to go places on my own. I want to continue
to live an independent life and not have to be in a pity pot. I would like to apply for a individual grant for myself I beleive that I
qualify.
