To whom it may concern. I am in need of help and getting a grant is hard to underestand on how to get a grant from any where. I
am submitting my plea and hope anyone who reads this letter if they can help will answer me my problem as it is: (some of the letter will seem to wander of ideas, but it will all tie in together if you read the entire letter completely it will make sense, I promise.) ( Forgive my poor written letter bellow, i am not a typist normally, and my spelling is not that great at my age and with my memory deficiency from my stroke) At the preseent time I and my domestic partner are both disabled and my domestic partner needs a ton of medical treatment. she has had 2 heart attackes in the last year and has consistant pains in her chest a lot of it due to the stress the social security administraiton is putting on her. besides the heart problems she has been scheduled for the last several years to have both knees reconstructed and one to be surgically replaced. all is on hold for now waiting to see if her heart will take the surgery. She had both eyes, cataracts removel done surgically, in the last 2 years in 2 separate operations so she could see.. So what is needed is a grant to pay for foregiving the money she owes back to social security, and a 2nd grant or a part of the money granted would go to help with the down payment and closing cost of buying a forclosed house or any low cost house we could find, we could find which would meet our hadicap situations. right now we pay $1500 per month for rent and if we could get a loan to buy a foreclosed and get a low cost for housing, with a low interest rate at about $750 to $850 per month. This is possible in todays market. We need 5% to 10% for the amount of the proeprty or purchase price to get the loan.. We have no savings to draw from. (it is easier to tell every thing over the phone than to put it in words. We presently pay $1500 for our housing. ( I have pets, dog and a cat who have been my source of companionship, affection for the last 10 years, and especially through the period of my rehabing from my stroke, and returning to a better health condition.) housing with pets is quite difficult to come upon. now recently my domestic partner is being penalized cause she lives with me and where she was getting $788 dollars per month has been cut by a $165 dollars and told she has to repay $4000.00 in time payments further cutting her monthly pension to $500.00 dollars. where we were making it, the sudden cuts in her monthly allotment, from $788 to $500 causes a grave burden on our entire ability to pay our bills and housing expences. I would like to dis cuss thsi with some one but WHo?? Can you help with this. We are asking for the cuts to be reconsidered but as yet have not heard anything back from the social security administration. |
