Dear support:
I am a minority woman seeking for a grant to start a small business. My husband and I were victims of this recession. We lost our new retirement dream home of 8yrs to foreclosure in NY. We now live in a apartment near our daughters in NJ. I want to apply for help with a small business. I plan to convert a $10.000 into a business that will provide hair services. These services will make most seniors feel better about themselves, encourage them to treat themselves to services that will relax them and help build their self esteem. Most seniors want to feel better and look their best, feel independent. I know this business will provide services that will help give them that satisfaction. These are services that most seniors must find transportation, care person, & time to obtain this service. I plan to drive to senior recreation centers, retirement housing and have contracts or appointments in advance for my services.
